A Sedgwick County deputy is recovering after being attacked by a group of dogs.

Deputies were called to the 46-hundred-block of South Hemlock on Saturday morning on the report of an 18-year-old man being attacked by several dogs.

A deputy was attacked by one of the dogs while helping the man.

The 18-year-old man, and a 69-year-old woman, who had been bitten by the dogs, were taken to hospitals, and the deputy reported only minor injuries.
