Daylight Saving Proposal

Kansas could soon stop observing Daylight Saving Time.

A proposal in the Kansas Legislature would exempt the state from Daylight Saving Time starting on November 3rd of this year.

The state would remain on standard time if the measure is approved. The “Wichita Eagle” reports some Kansas lawmakers have suggested that Missouri legislators approve a similar measure in an effort to avoid confusion in the Kansas City area, which is divided in half by the state line.
