College Plans Security Upgrades

Butler County Community College is upgrading security on campus.

More than 400 cameras are being installed, and police say it will allow them to monitor nearly the entire campus except for dorms, bathrooms and locker rooms.

All doors at the college will have key card access, which will allow police to close down the campus during an incident.

Officials say the six-million-dollars in security upgrades should be completely installed by spring or summer.
