Car Stereos Stolen

Salina Police are investigating two vehicle burglaries that are likely connected.

According to Lt. Scott Siemsen, sometime between Saturday at 4pm and Monday afternoon at 3pm, two vehicles were broken into – at two different businesses.

Police say a 2003 GMC pickup had the driver’s side window broken and CD player stolen while parked at MC Auto, 601 N. Santa Fe.

Total loss and damage is estimated at $300.

During the same time frame, officers also report that a 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo that was parked at Brittendall Motors, 631 N. Santa Fe, had a window smashed and car stereo stolen.

Total loss is listed at $500.
