Police are investigating a break-in at a Salina liquor store early Thursday morning.
Captain Paul Forrester tells KSAL News that officers are reviewing surveillance video from Brooks Liquor, located at 1837 S. 9th after someone apparently took a hammer and smashed the front door of the business.
Police say a 5-foot-10″ male wearing a hooded sweatshirt and black coat rushed in and grabbed a six pack of Keystone Light, but dropped one on the floor on the way out.
Loss and damage is listed at just over $500.
The burglary occurred at 12:44am Thursday.
