Kansas clergy may soon be required to report suspected child abuse.

The House Judiciary Committee voted earlier this month to advance House Bill 2352 to the House floor.

The measure would add ordained ministers to the state’s list of mandated reporters of suspected physical, mental, emotional, or sexual abuse of children.
