Athletic Trainer Accused of Sexual Exploitation has License Suspended

A Junction City High School athletic trainer accused of sexual exploitation of a child can no longer pursue his trade.

According to a spokesperson, the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts announced Thursday that it had “indefinitely suspended” the license of 29-year-old Brandon M. Martino.

Local police arrested Martino in late January after he allegedly sent sexually explicit text messages and nude images of himself to a student’s cellphone. The student was reportedly under 18.
