Kari is a digital literacy teacher at South Middle school. She has been teaching in USD 305 for 26 years total, and is currently finishing her third year at South Middle. Kari was inspired to pursue education after her time spent helping her younger brother with math and babysitting. Her favorite part about teaching is watching her students apply their learning in their real lives and seeing them become productive, young adults. Kari encourages parents and the community to put down their phones because children need to have our full attention. We are modeling proper communication and they are always watching us.
