Ashley is a roving teacher at Central High school. She has been teaching for 14 years total with two years at Central High. Ashley started by working in the banking/accounting field but felt that she was drawn to do something with more of an impact on others. So, she made the switch to teaching. Her high school accounting teacher first inspired her to pursue accounting and now she enjoys teaching it along with other business classes. Ashley loves being able to teach her students about the real world and prepare them for life after high school. She has enjoyed being a roving teacher as she has had the opportunity to be in almost every class and meet every student. Ashley’s message to parents and the community is to stay informed, be involved in your student’s learning and promote kindness, empathy and respect for diversity within our school community.
