James “Jimi” Andrew Andreasen, 53, of Salina, Kansas, passed away on September 8, 2026, at Pleasant Valley Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing in Sedan, Kansas. Jimi was born on October 30, 1972, in Salina, to Robert Earl Andreasen and Stephanie June (Pickett) Andreasen.

During his childhood, Jimi lived in Japan for a couple of years while his father was stationed there. He attended most of his school years in Salina and graduated from Salina Central High School in 1991.

Throughout his life, Jimi worked several jobs and will be remembered for the things he loved most, including Pepsi, Star Wars—especially the Dark Side—the Punisher, and anything science fiction.

His family and friends will remember him through these pieces of his personality and the memories they shared with him.

Jimi is survived by his three daughters, Samantha and her husband, Andrew Radford; Jamie and her husband, James Coleman; and Haleigh and her husband, Paul Thompson; one stepdaughter, Shannon Hird; two grandchildren, Mavrynn and Edward Radford; his brother, Patrick and his wife, Eva Andreasen; his nephew, Wyatt Andreasen; and his great-niece, Oakley Andreasen, and great-nephew, Shawn Andreasen.He was preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother, Danial Andreasen.

Memorial services will be held at Ryan Mortuary in Salina, on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Celebration of Life will be held at Spangles, 2630 S 9th St, Salina, KS 67401, from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM following memorial service.
