With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. Kathleen Pratt passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026.
Kathleen was born on February 23rd, 1942, in Ellsworth, Kansas. Her parents were Nial Voss Napier and Leonilla Seus Napier.
Kathleen attended Sacred Heart high school and Marymount College. She met her beloved husband, Bill during their high school years and married in 1962. For 63 years they built a life filled with family and many adventures. Bill and Kathleen loved to travel, with their children, their grandchildren and throughout their retirement. Traveling most of the US collecting National Park stamps along the way.
Kathleen also enjoyed volunteering, time with family and friends, playing bridge and crafting of all kinds. She discovered her passion and talent for painting. She received numerous awards for her work.
She is survived by her daughters Karen Lynn Gebhardt, Lori Ann Perez (Tom), and Julie Marie Leiker (Garry). Siblings, James Napier (Lou) and Norita Whightsil, Grandchildren, Elizabeth Parrish, Nicholas Gebhardt, Jordan Gebhardt (Dana), Christopher Gebhardt, (KeShawnda), Tommy Perez (Jamie), Joshua Perez (Gretchen), Jaide Perez (Isaac), Shane Perez (Makiah), Billie Weaver, Cole Leiker and 21 great grandchildren.
Kathleen is preceded in death by her beloved husband Bill Pratt, her parents, siblings, Rosemary (Napier) Amend and David Napier Mildred (Pratt) Wiggins.
Service will be at the Sacred Heart Cathedral 118 N. 9th St. Salina, KS, Thursday August 6, 2026, 10:00 am with lunch to follow.
