Shirley Kay Smith, 71, of Salina, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at her home.  She was born in Salina, Kansas to Willard Henry and Margaret L. (Hoffman) Smith on May 7, 1955.  She attended and graduated from Tescott High School in 1973.  She later graduated from Wichita State University with a bachelor’s degree in human resources.  She was currently working for Acosta Merchandising.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Margaret Smith.

She is survived by her husband, Todd Weis, of the home; sons, Joshua Hearne, of Wichita, and Derec Weis, of Salina; grandchildren, Jaydon, Camden, Ashton and Avery; sister, Pat Everett (Curt); and brother, Steve Smith.
