Jim R. Staggs, 87, of Lindsborg, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, May 12th, 2026.

Jim was born in Skedee, Oklahoma on March 30th, 1939 to Vida(Bell) and Kenneth Staggs.

Jim moved to Lindsborg, KS to farm and raise livestock in 1957, he also was employed by Big A in the research and development department.

On June 24th, 1960 Jim married Joyce(Johnson)Staggs in Lindsborg. They spent many happy years together before her passing in 2021.

Survivors include a daughter, Crystal Hiebert and her children, Shaun, Paul, Alicia, Ashlee and Katelyn, and a son, Robert(Brenda) and their children Jamie and Paige. His surviving siblings include his brother Earnest, and sisters Betty and Dianna.

Besides his wife Joyce, he is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Raymond, Kenneth, Ronnie and Virgil and sister Janet.

Jim’s wishes were to be cremated. Services will be planned at a later date.
