Joyce L. Stelter, 71, Minneapolis, died Sunday, May 10, 2026, at the Salina Regional Health Center. Joyce was born September 30, 1954, in Salina to Loran and Mary (Garst) Rice.

Joyce worked many jobs including ElDorado, Minneapolis Grade School, and Jo’s Daylight Donuts all in Minneapolis. She loved spending time with her family and especially cooking with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jarry; stepfather, Gaylord Rayls; sister, Pam; and brother, Danny.

Survivors are her children, Angel Haney (Rob), Lynn Aikens, Michael Stover and wife, Brandy, and Eva Jennings; siblings, Allen Rice and wife, Pat, Mickell Rice, Scott Rice, Elaine Wohler and husband, Stan, Karen Brumbaugh, and Susie Miller and husband, Mike; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A gathering with family and friends will begin at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 16, at Scout Hall in Markley Grove Park, Minneapolis. In true Joyce fashion, casual dress is a must. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Minneapolis Grade School Cub Backers and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
