An employee at a Salina store was arrested after staff discovered she was allegedly stealing food and other items.

According to Police Lt. Andrew Zeigler, 23-year-old Kayla Wall was taken into custody after the loss prevention team at Wal-Mart contacted authorities about the case.

Police say Wall is accused of taking food, furniture, health and beauty products plus clothing valued at over $1,200.

She is now facing charges that could include felony theft and misdemeanor theft.
