Salina Police are investigating a Monday evening incident in which shots were fired and one person was injured.

According to the Salina Police Department, they are investigating an incident which occurred in the 1100 blk of W. Republic just before 5:00 PM.  Several shots were fired during the incident.

One individual suffered non-life threatening injuries, and was being treated at Salina Regional Health Center. 

One individual is currently in custody as the investigation is on going.
