Roger Dale Besher, born on August 7, 1945 in St. Louis, MO, was the son of the late Floyd and Mary Lucille Besher. He departed this life on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at the age of 80.

He is survived by son Jeff Besher (wife Laura and sons Kyler and Kayden) of Salina, KS, daughter Brandi Besher of Orlando, FL, son Roger Besher Jr. (son Brandon and daughter Shannon) of Colorado, and sister Melody Keith of North Carolina, as well as cousins and some extended family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Barbara Ann Besher, newborn son Rodney Besher, and brothers Bruce and Timothy.

He loved in simple, lasting ways, showing up, staying late, carrying more than his share. Now he rests beyond our sight, but in every kindness, every small grace, he remains with us, always.

Memorial services will be held at Grace Baptist Church (400 E Crawford St, Salina, KS 67401) at 11am on February 16, 2026 followed by a luncheon at an off-site location.
