An Oklahoma woman is headed to prison for the murders of two Kansas women.
Tifany Adams was sentenced yesterday to life in prison without the possibility of parole in the deaths of Veronica Butler and Jilian Kelley.
Butler and Kelley were killed Easter weekend in 2024 after traveling from Hugoton, Kansas, to Texas County, Oklahoma, for a supervised visit with Butler’s children.
Prosecutors say Adams, who was the paternal grandmother of Butler’s children, planned the murders due to a custody battle over the kids.
