A Salina teen who was living in a group home for juveniles is accused of threatening other residents and shoving a cop.
According to Police Lt. Andrew Zeigler, on Saturday officers were sent to a home in the 1000 block of W. Cloud after a 15-year-old girl became upset because she had no access to her phone. Police say she threatened to “burn the house down.”
The teen resisted arrest and shoved an officer, slammed a patrol car door into an officer before she was body wrapped and placed into custody.
She’s now facing charges that could include making a criminal threat and criminal damage to property.
