Kathleen Ann “Kathy” Roberts, 77, of Salina, Kansas, passed away on December 11, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family, following a life filled with love, dedication, and service to others. Born on June 27, 1948, in Beloit, Kansas, Kathy was the daughter of Dr. George H and Wanda (Britt) Roberts. She grew up in Osborne, Kansas, where she graduated from Osborne High School and began to lay the foundation for her lifelong journey.
In her early years, Kathy married and moved with her family to Salina. A gifted cosmetologist, Kathy devoted more than 50 years of her life to the beauty industry, becoming a beloved figure in the Salina community for her skill, warmth, and attention to detail. Her passion for her craft, combined with her ability to make others feel their best, made her a trusted professional to generations of clients.
She loved spending time with her family and friends and found her greatest joy in being present for her grandchildren—faithfully cheering them on at sporting events and proudly attending their many activities. She also enjoyed simple pleasures like going out to eat, playing cards, and gathering with friends for games of bunco, always valuing laughter, togetherness, and time well spent with those she loved.
Though her marriage ultimately ended in divorce, Kathy’s love for her three daughters remained steadfast throughout her life. She was a loving and devoted mother, always supportive and encouraging her children through every stage of their lives. Her legacy as a dedicated mother, grandmother, and friend is one that will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Kathy’s passing leaves a profound void in the lives of her family, friends, and clients. She will be remembered for her generosity, her radiant spirit, and her unwavering devotion to her craft and family. Her warmth and kindness touched many lives, and her memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
