Two people are hospitalized following yesterday’s explosion and fire at the Tenawa Haven Gas Plant in Haven, Kansas.
Fire officials say crews were called to the facility at Kent Road shortly after 1 p.m., at which point the order was given to evacuate an area of two miles surrounding the facility.
As of late yesterday, gas to the facility had been shut off and authorities had signed a disaster declaration. Cause of the blaze is under investigation.
