Though there was not a grand prize winner in Kansas, there were two million dollar winners in the Sunflower State Wednesday night.
According to the Kansas Lottery, two tickets, one sold in southwest Kansas and the other sold in south central Kansas, matched the first five numbers but not the Powerball to each win a $1 million prize! Seven Kansas tickets matched four of the first five numbers and the Powerball, and each of those tickets is worth $50,000. Three were sold in northeast Kansas, two in north central, one in south central Kansas and one in the southeast region.
The Powerball jackpot returns to $40 million for Saturday’s drawing.
