Friday night’s forecast of the likelihood of rain and thunderstorms has prompted Rolling Hills Zoo to postpone its annual “Zoo Brew” event.

According to the zoo, they are postponing the originally scheduled Zoo Brew event to Friday, September 2nd.

That night Rolling Hills Zoo will be “rocking the park” from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. with great brew, food and live music. The Astronauts, a high energy dance band from Wichita, will be performing during Zoo Brew  on the patio of the Overlook Restaurant.  There will be sixteen varieties of beer on tap along with soda and water.

Free bus transportation will be provided with pick up and drop off at the 7th & Iron parking lot next to Cozy Inn on a first come, first serve basis.  Departure time is 6 p.m. and return time is 10 p.m.

Ticket price for members is $20 and non-member is $25.  Ticket price includes food, zoo admission and live concert! All beer is just $3.  You can purchase your tickets online or at the door.

Bring your lawn chair and enjoy another blow out evening at the Zoo during Zoo Brew on Friday, September 2nd.
