Women Kept Locked In Apartment

Wichita police say they’ve arrested a caregiver who allegedly kept two of his ex-girlfriends locked in an apartment for several days.

The 56-year old man was arrested this week. He was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail on suspicion of unlawful restraint and two counts of mistreatment of dependent adults. It’s unclear if he’s been charged.

Police didn’t say if the 69- and 57-year-old women were injured. It’s also unclear how many days they were held.

Police say the man had been “neglecting care for several days.”

They have not released the identities of the man or victims.
