Woman Sees Burglary in Progress

Three teens are arrested after a woman returns home to see three suspects fleeing from inside.

Salina Police arrested 17-year-old Rolando Rocha, 17-year-old Brandon LaBarge and 16-year-old Joshua Blake, all of Salina after they allegedly stole items from inside a home at 807 Willis.

Police say Leigh Ann Johnson pulled up to her home around 8:15am on Thursday morning to see 3 teens she recognized leaving her home with items from inside.

LaBarge allegedly drove away in a vehicle while the two other teens fled on foot. Johnson followed LaBarge’s vehicle and contacted police.

An officer pulled him over a short time later.

The two other males were found by a Saline County Sheriff’s Deputy at the intersection of Lena and Yale.

All three are facing charges of burglary and theft. Most of the items including an HP laptop computer, Nexus tablet computer, 2 backpacks and two San Diego Chargers jerseys were recovered from a ditch near the intersection of Tally and Roberts.

All three were taken to the Juvenile Detention Center in Junction City.
