Wedding Set Stolen

A gun and a video game controller are stolen from a Salina home.

A forgotten wedding set is reported stolen.

Salina Police received a report from 67-year-old Norma Giger of Pacific, Missouri on Tuesday, after the woman stayed on East Diamond Drive at the Howard Johnson Hotel on October 6th.

The woman told police she contacted staff at the hotel when she realized on her drive home, that she had forgotten her wedding set in the room.

The rings, valued at $2,500 were not found.

I have to wonder if this isnt another scam usually the house keepers at motels have to be bonded and wouldnt take a chance on taking them also when housekeepers clean instead of completely cleaning they usually go strip the rooms and go back all the while leaving doors open anyone could walk in

Right if you believe that the housekeepers would not take something then you got another thing coming. I will agree that this could be a scam.
