Vietnam War Rewind

Questions still abound from the war in southeast Asia where over 58,000 American soldiers lost their lives over forty years ago.

Dr. Adrian Lewis is coming to the Smoky Hill Museum on Thursday with a presentation that hopes to answer nagging questions that are still rooted in the 1960’s about the Vietnam War.

Dr. Lewis, a retired soldier who is a professor at the University of Kansas and also teaches at the Naval War College joined in on the KSAL Morning News Wednesday with a preview.

He says the most prevalent question remains: “How is it that the most powerful nation on earth ever, spends ten years fighting a war against a nation that can’t even produce the weapons that it used against us?”

The free presentation compliments the 1960’s Flashback Series at the Smoky Hill Museum.

Dr. Lewis will be on hand Thursday, December 3rd from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.
