Unseasonable Warmth To Start The Week

The last full week before Christmas is starting out unseasonably warm.

According to the National Weather Service, unseasonably mild and dry weather will prevail across the area through Wednesday. Daily high temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s are expected through Thursday.

However a strong arctic cold front is expected to drop south across Kansas on Thursday bringing much colder temperatures. A period of light freezing drizzle is possible behind the front Thursday night through Friday morning. Major unceratinity in precipitation still remains with this next system.
