A collision involving two Harley-Davidson motorcycles in rural Dickinson County sent two people to the hospital in Abilene.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2002 Harley Davidson driven by 55-year-old Allen Campbell from Dallas, Georgia, was headed west on K-18 Highway.

Campbell rear-ended another motorcycle, a 2013 Harley Davidson driven by 63-year-old Kathleen Bogucki from Loranger,  Louisiana.  Bogucki had slowed to make a right hand turn to travel north on K-15 Highway.

Both Campbell and Bogucki were transported to the hospital in Abilene. Neither was  wearing a helmet.

The crash happened during the noon hour on Tuesday, at the K-18 / K-15 junction in Dickinson County.
