Construction tools are taken from a trailer.

The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after thieves broke the padlocks on a cargo trailer owned by Reese Construction of Salina and removed numerous power tools including hammer drill and cutoff saw.

The burglary occurred between October 17th and October 20th while the trailer was parked at a job site in the 5200 block of S. Holmes Road.

Total loss is listed at $1,985.
