Three Hurt In Rollover Crash

KSAL Staff - September 16, 2013 6:30 am

Three people are hurt in a single-vehicle rollover crash.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 24-year-old Jonathan Berens of Russell was driving a Saturn Vue west on K 140 Highway. The car left the road on the north side. It came back onto the highway, crossed the center line, and left the road on the south side. The car again came back across the road and rolled into the north ditch.

Beren was not hurt, but three passengers were. They are 22-year-old Xavier McCulloch of Russell, 24-year-old Audra Griffin of Russell, and 25-year-old Cody Casper from Hays.

McCulloch was transported to a Wichita hospital. Griffin and Casper were transported to the hospital in Salina.

Troopers say that no one in the car was buckled up.

The crash happened early Saturday morning 13 miles east of Ellsworth on K 140 Highway.
