Theft Hits Salina

Salina Police

Two residential thefts were reported in Salina yesterday, one with a very hefty price tag.

A theft on the 1100 block of North Fifth Street left a man with a $49,036 loss. Two handguns, assorted jewelry were stolen from the property. No suspects are named yet.

Another theft was reported on the 900 block of Somerset. A brown cello was stolen between Monday and Wednesday from the residence. The cello was valued at $1700.

If the chief of police does not get his boys to catch these guys then the citizens should arm themselves an shoot to kill. Maybe after bodies start piling up breakin’s will diminish.
