Tailgate Vandalized

Jeff Garretson - September 10, 2013 11:14 am

A truck is damaged while parked in a Salina neighborhood.

Police say sometime between Sunday night at 10pm and Monday morning at 9am, someone scratched the tailgate on a 2002 Ford Ranger that was parked in the 2000 block of Norton.

Officers report the numerous scratch marks covered the entire tailgate.

The damage is estimated at $500.

1st of all….tailgates for an 11 yr old Ranger don’t cost $500…..go to the scrap yard and find one like it….swap it out for a few bucks.

Iggy’s just bein’ nice here….wait til ya see him really get is feathers ruffled..right Iggy!?

Trying to be nice but Todd will not do anything about this pita. Why so hostile to the police Charles Sadler (fake name)? Well let’s look at their record of unsolved crimes and the crime wave we are having. Instead of putting their attention to this and using their personel for this purpose they rather set up dui lanes or dress up like clowns to give out seatbelt citations. Remember the dummy who dressed up as Santa last christmas to give some out of town people a ticket for not using their seatbelts. That was a great move by this Lamer guy. He should have been kicked off the force for that stunt.

I will go you one better how come the city manager and Salina city commissioners are mum on who they are interviewing for the new police chief? The old guy finally got the word and is moving on in October. Are they even looking for a replacement? Maybe the news department on here ought to be looking into this.
