The number of arrests in a central Kansas drug investigation is up to five in slightly more than a week.
A manhunt prompted the lockdown of several churches and a hospital in Barton County.
A Barton County deputy tried to pull over a vehicle about 9:30 Sunday morning on Highway 281, but it sped away.
Hoisington police disabled the suspects’ vehicle with stop sticks and took Jonas Grub into custody a short time later.
The second suspect, Jason McKinnon, was captured about 3:15 p.m. on a warrant for parole violations on a weapons charge in Virginia.
