Police were called after a disturbance at Wal-Mart.

Officers arrested 36-year-old Elijah Gragg of McPherson on Wednesday afternoon, after he allegedly attacked a store greeter.

Police say 63-year-old Roger Bennett of Salina was working as a greeter on Wednesday at 4:30pm, and noticed Gragg lying inside the store’s entry way in the cart storage area.

Gragg suddenly attacked Bennett and repeatedly hit him in the head with his fists.

Gragg is now facing charges of battery and criminal trespass.

Bennett was treated at Salina Regional Health Center following the incident.
