Stolen Truck Found, Arrest Made

A Topeka man was arrested at the hospital in Salina for driving a truck that was reported stolen from Sabetha, Kansas.

According to SPD Captain Paul Forrester, police learned on Saturday that a stolen 2004 Chevy Silverado was parked in the lot at Salina Regional Health Center.

Officers made contact with the driver, 29-year-old Robert Servantez inside the hospital and arrested him on charges for possession of stolen property.

Police say Servantez has been cooperative in helping them learn who stole the truck from an owner in the small northeast Kansas town.

The 2004 Silverado is valued at $10,400.
