The extra hour of daylight that arrived with daylight savings time contains unseasonable warmth. It’s probably too early to declare that “spring has sprung”, but pleasant temperatures are expected for the near future.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures this week will be characteristic of mid-April instead of mid-March.

Temperatures will climb well above normal over the upcoming week. Toward the middle of next week, forecast lows will climb into the lower 40s while forecast highs rise into the low 70s. Normal lows are in the lower 30s and the normal highs are in the mid and upper 50s.
