Salina Police are investigating after multiple shots were fired Thursday night in the Lowe’s parking lot.

Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that officers were called to Lowe’s Home Improvement, 3035 S.9th just before 10pm on Thursday after a group of people witnessed a suspect fire a gun at a man in a car.

Investigators say the suspect had pulled up to the victim’s vehicle – words were exchanged and then shots were fired.

One bullet hit the passenger side of the car.

No one was injured.

Captain Sweeney says witnesses are still being interviewed as the investigation continues.
