The satellite motor vehicle registration office in Salina relocating.

According to the Saline County Treasurer’s Office, the satellite tag office located at 2000 S. 9th, Suite E, will be moving to the Galaxy Center at 2310 Planet Avenue. The move will happen the week of September 15th -22nd.

Officials say that the new location will offer greater customer access, be more visible, and will be more cost efficient to run. They hope to have the new location open September 23rd.

Office hours for the new location will remain the same, Tuesday-Friday 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. There will be no additional increase in fees for use at the new location. Currently there is a $3.00 per registration for transactions at the satellite office to cover the cost of operating expenses.

During the move, customers will need to use the main Tag Registration Office located at the City-County building. Hours at the main office is open Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
