A stolen pickup truck is recovered in Russell.

According to Lt. Scott Siemsen, police are investigating the theft and damage of a pickup that was stolen from Hico Motors, 645 N. Santa Fe, sometime between October 9th and October 14th.

The 1991 Chevy truck, valued at $4,000 was located in Russell – because staff at Hico Motors had installed a GPS unit on it.

Police say the vehicle was located on private property and one of the doors had been gutted.

Lt. Siemsen tells KSAL News the investigation is ongoing.
