Police say vandals caused an estimated $2,300 damage to a couple of vehicles in the 1600 block of Courtney. Police report a 2002 Subaru Forester and a 2008 Chevy Malibu were egged on August 7th, damaging the exterior paint.

A glass door was shattered at the Book Nook, 147 S. 4th Street sometime between 4:30pm on Saturday and midnight Sunday. Damage is listed at $500.

Thomas Theohary of Clintondale, NY reported on Sunday that someone entered his unlocked Jeep Wrangler that was parked in the 400 block of Fairdale and took his wallet that contained $2,000 cash. A black, backpack with survival and camping gear was also taken. Total loss is listed at $4,000.
