Salina Police Log 7-5-16

Police are investigating after a jewelry and coin collection were stolen from a home in the 2600 block of Deborah was stolen sometime Sunday morning between 9:15am and 9:55am. Police say a door was forced open and the loss is listed at over $14,000.

A 2003 Chevy Tahoe was stolen from the parking lot at Salina’s Mid State Plaza, 2450 S. 9th. Owner Brandee Adams of Smolan told officers the keys were left in the vehicle and it was taken on Sunday sometime between 9 and 10am. The Tahoe is valued at $1,500 and has Kansas plate 607 DDI.

Two vehicle were damaged by gunshots sometime between midnight on Friday and 6:30pm later that evening while parked at Kenny’s Auto Body, 615 E. Pacific. Police report an estimated $2,000 damage was done to the 1998 Isuzu Rodeo and 1998 Dodge Durango.

A black, utility trailer with a wood deck was stolen from the 200 block of N. 2nd sometime between July 1st and 3rd. The trailer is valued at $1,000.
