Salina Police Log 6-26-15

KSAL Staff - June 26, 2015 10:35 am

Salina Police are investigating a couple of unrelated home burglaries. Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that several drills and a circular saw were stolen from a home at 31 Crestview on Thursday. Police say there was no sign of forced entry. Loss is estimated at $600.

A box of cash is reported stolen from a home. Salina Police say a 19-year-old college student was saving money inside a box at a home in the 500 block of Washington Street. Sometime between December 26th and June 25th someone apparently removed the box from the home that contained $2,000 in cash.

How about naming the student? He had that much money in a box but never checked on it in 6 months really!
