Police are investigating the theft of a hand gun. A Colt 1911 .45 caliber handgun was reported stolen from a Ford F 150 pickup parked at 230 S. Clark Street. The gun was taken sometime between 2:00 in the afternoon on Tuesday, and 7:00 in the morning on Wednesday. Total loss is listed at $500.

A thief steals a wallet that was left on a gas pump. Police say that a man left his wallet on a gas pump at the Mid Kansas Coop at 821 N. Broadway Monday afternoon. He came back several hours later, and it was gone. Total loss, including cash, credit, and identification cards in the wallet is listed at $500.

A Salina man has been arrested for a recent burglary at a bar. 54-year-old Kelly Ravenstein is accused of entering Throwback’s Bar at 501 N. 5th Street, and taking a bottle of Crown Royal whiskey. The alleged crime happened back on August 31st. Ravenstein could face charges that include burglary and theft.
