A Salina man is in police custody after being arrested on warrant for sexual exploitation.

Austin Cart, 21 of Salina, is being charged with eight counts of sexual exploitation of a child and promoting obscenity to a child. Police say Cart was exchanging pictures that were sexual in nature to a 17-year-old female on a social media site, similar to Facebook Messenger.

The exchange ran from April 29-June 18.
