An almost four month long arson investigation leads to the arrest of a Salina man.

Police Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that 40-year-old Jason Wooster was taken into custody on Friday on a charge of arson.

The arrest stems from a house fire on March 29th that investigators say was set intentionally with accelerant at 155 North Broadway.

The vacant house, which was owned by 78-year-old Gary Wooster of Salina was razed after the fire caused excessive damage to the structure.
