More counterfeit money has surfaced in Salina.

Police say that on Tuesday, someone attempted to make a purchase at the McDonald’s restaurant at 701 S. Broadway using a counterfeit $20 bill. An employee recognized the bill as counterfeit, and called police.

The person trying to pass the counterfeit bill left before officers arrived.
