Salina Police are looking for a motorcycle rider who escaped following a high speed pursuit.

Police say that last Saturday evening an officer spotted a motorcycle driving reckless on the 600 block of South Broadway. The motorcycle did not pull over when the officer attempted a traffic stop.

After successfully eluding the first officer, the motorcycle was later spotted on East Crawford Street. The rider this time turned off his lights, and again successfully eluded police.

The motorcycle was spotted a third time, headed west on Walnut Street. It was later found abandoned, lying on the ground unattended in a backyard in the 300 Block of South 11th Street.

Police are still trying to locate whoever was riding it.
