A known suspect is still at large following a vehicular pursuit.

On Friday at approximately 1:19pm Police spotted a known warranted suspect driving a 1995 white and green Geo Tracker at the intersection of Highland and Cloud Street.

After being stopped, the suspect drove around police westbound on Cloud Street at speeds estimated around 70 miles per hour. The chase continued into the 1100 block of West Cloud as the suspect drove off road into the grass near Buyer’s Guide on Dover Circle.

The suspect left the vehicle abandoned near the intersection of Osage and Dover Circle before running off into the neighborhood.

He is previously wanted on felony warrants in Saline County.

A Salina man is arrested after attempting to steal a vehicle over the weekend.

Police were dispatched to the 200 block of North Phillips on Saturday around 11pm. An alleged victim of the residence claimed he was coming outside to lock his 1999 Ford F150 when he found a man rummaging through his vehicle.

The suspect, Richard Brazo, Jr. 52, ran from the victim after being seen. He took off  going east through an alley near the home. Police were able to locate him in the 200 block of North 13th not long after.

Brazo is jailed on counts of felony vehicle burglary and theft charges.
