Police are investigating a theft at Salina Iron and Metal that has been ongoing since early June. The total loss to date is valued at $2,142. The suspect is known, but further information regarding his identity has not been released.

Two vehicles were damaged on the 700 block of South 2nd Street on Sunday night. A red Mercury Milan sustained $500 worth of damage when the paint was scratched, and a 2007 Saturn Vue had a cracked windshield and side window valued at $300.

Salina police are investigating damage to property case after a known suspect hit a 2003 Chevrolet Malibu with their vehicle on Pershing and Sunset. The suspect and the victim had allegedly gotten into an argument, which caused the suspect to cause the accident. The damage is valued at $700. No arrests have been made, and the case remains open for investigation.

A 2001 Ford Taurus sustained broken windows on Friday night on the 1100 block of Harold Road. The total damage is valued at $1,100.
